Look, in all seriousness... I'm all for sticking it to 'The Man'. I don't partake in our debt culture/economy, I don't watch much TV (other than sports), do drugs, drink, or anything else that would impair my life or give anyone else serious power over me or my family. If there's the slightest, tiniest chance that you're right, I don't see how it would affect me anyway.
I can appreciate the sentiment in this thread, but the bottom line is... it's completely nuts. It's devoid of any basis in reality. You might as well be trying to convince me there's a real sculpture of a human face on Mars, or that we really didn't go to the Moon in 1969. |

I, for one, don't really care all that much. Conspiracy? Good story, maybe it's true. Maybe it's not. In the end, we're all going to die anyway. Be it a virus, some huge conspiracy, act of war, or all those cheeseburgers.

I plan on living forever, however, on the off chance I don't, I want to be cryogenically frozen. Me and Ted Williams's head will rule the world when they unfreeze us in 2714. |

Actually had a bit of an argument with my six year old daughter about living forever. I told her I would, and she said I can't. Apparently, the idea of time existing only to the perception of the individual isn't a concept they teach in kindergarten yet. |

Now, this is a notion I can support. The dinosaurs lived on this planet a lot longer than we have...and there are a whole bunch of critters than can do things we can't. We're not that special, though some people would like us to believe otherwise. In a universe as vast as ours is, we ought to show a little more humility. |

The other day my daughter told me the dog farted and it was stinky. That's about the deepest conversation we've ever had. |

Everything they do affects you, it affects your health, your finances, your future and your children's future. like the other guy who said well, it may be true and it may not but i dont care either way, it is that type of apathy that will bring the end to our great republic very very soon. Remember, the amount of tyranny you will put up with is the amount you will get.
The face on mars, ufo's, chupacabras, the moon landing, these are side issues of no importance and quite frankly things that cannot be proven and its hard enough trying to convince most people of the things we can prove.
I would also ask, what is it that is so nuts or not based in reality? I would be very curious to know what type of political affiliations and religious beliefs you and Dr thunder have as well as how old both of you are, this would help me to understand your mindset a little better. |
