This is exactly why you don't select a subpar player with your first round pick just to try and grab another guy with your 2nd pick.

When they both flame out... you really screwed up.

Just a bad, bad, bad decision by Dayton.

Dozier is hitting .344/.450/.375 in his last 10 games. We should probably hold off on the doom-and-gloom predictions for this kid. There's a lot to like here.

Nope. He's junk. Bairdhater said so, so it must be true. Wink

A little bright spot in an otherwise rough week... Dozier's hot streak continues, his hitting streak has hit 15 games, including 2 BB, 2 hits, and a grand slam today.

Hey, the kid is posting OBP of over .350...that shit needs to stop. How's he going to be a major leaguer pulling that?

Exactly....if you can't hit .300, what the hell good is walking?

he should be dominating A ball pitching with his age. He's struck out 33 times in 37 games and hits with no power.

Fits right in with the current ML culture.

So just checked Dozier stats today and this is what I found:

AVG G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SB CS OBP SLG
.250 44 144 21 36 5 0 2 23 47 28 37 6 1 .376 .326

OPS-.703

He pretty much leads the team in all stats of the regulars. This is a Harder league to hit in right?

His home and away splits show a dramatic difference.
